Trial and Pro terms

Pennilo is a personal record-keeping tool, not a bank connection or financial, tax or investment advisor. Check your own records and keep backups.

The optional 14-day Trial is a free non-consumable purchase. It begins at the verified original transaction time and runs for 14 continuous 24-hour periods. Reinstalling or restoring does not restart it. No automatic payment follows.

Basic is permanently free: unlimited manual records in one fixed book and one photo per record. At Pro trial expiry, other books remain viewable, exportable and deletable, but adding or editing in them requires Pro. Existing photos are retained; Basic can delete them but cannot add or replace photos while more than one remains. Other fields in the Basic book stay editable. Quick capture and ordinary automatic iCloud sync pause. With sync enabled, deletion changes still sync for free; new records, edits, restored items and photo uploads require Pro for automatic sync. Explicit recovery of existing cloud data remains free and never uploads local changes. A restored backup does not reset a trial or transfer the fixed Basic book selection.

Pro is a separate one-time non-consumable purchase and takes priority over a trial. The App Store price displayed at purchase applies; starting a trial does not reserve a discount. The app does not offer subscriptions or enabled purchase Family Sharing.

Existing Pro customers retain access to regular updates of this same app. Personal Pro does not include separate apps, unreleased platforms, extra iCloud storage, future shared-book cloud services, cloud AI, or separately sold themes and Huahua outfits. It does not promise permanent unlimited cloud services. Refunds and revocations are handled through Apple and verified entitlement changes. Data is retained.

Pro and its trial allow up to 6 photos per record. Existing over-limit photos remain viewable, exportable and removable, without blocking other permitted record edits. To add or replace photos, first remove enough to meet the current allowance, save and reopen the record. Technical limits remain 30 MiB source images, 4096 px long-edge imports, and 256 MiB backup files with less than 128 MiB of attachments. Current backup format is version 4; versions 1, 2 and 3 remain readable. Lost backup passwords cannot be recovered.
