TSX has a separate open-source license
TSX is free and licensed under MIT. The MIT license governs its source and the rights to use, modify and redistribute it; this website's terms do not restrict those rights. Third-party components retain their respective licenses. Clip and Tempo purchase terms do not apply to TSX. Any translation provider you configure may charge separately.
1. Identity and scope
XUELONG YU is the developer and website operator. Clip and Tempo use the copyright notice “© 2026 XUELONG YU”; TSX uses the copyright notice in its MIT license. Lumax is the product brand, not a separate company. The app-licence and purchase sections apply to both products. Product-specific sections distinguish Lumax Clip from Lumax Tempo; the final sections cover use of the website.
This page does not replace terms provided by Apple or rights provided by applicable law.
2. Apple Standard EULA
The planned Mac App Store releases of Lumax Tempo and Lumax Clip will use Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) rather than a custom EULA. The apps are licensed, not sold. Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable Apple Media Services terms govern the licence and use of the app.
This page adds product, purchase, entitlement, and website-use information only. It does not replace, modify, or restate Apple’s Standard EULA.
3. Lumax Clip · release and scope
Lumax Clip is a native clipboard manager for macOS 14 or later. It is preparing for release and is not yet listed on the Mac App Store. The first release will not be offered on the mainland China storefront, although Simplified Chinese remains supported in the app.
Launch features do not include a Lumax account, cloud sync, OCR, AI, or data export. Product previews and unannounced plans may change; no release date is promised unless one is expressly announced.
4. Clip · free Basic version
Basic is free. It includes history for supported content types, search, copy, favourites, manual deletion, privacy exclusions, sensitive-content filtering, pause and resume recording, 35 interface languages, display modes, interface scaling, the default appearance, and the coral accent colour.
Basic has a total capacity of 500 entries including favourites. At the normal limit, saving a new entry replaces the oldest non-favourite entry. Favourites are not removed by capacity rotation. If all 500 entries are favourites, saving new history pauses. If existing data is already above 500, it is retained and new saving pauses until the user reduces the total to within the Basic capacity. These pauses do not disable the macOS system clipboard.
5. Clip · Pro features and retention
Pro removes Basic’s fixed 500-entry capacity. It adds retention by count, by time, or permanently; count- and time-based automatic cleanup protect favourites. Pro also adds custom accent colours, fonts, backgrounds and related appearance or transparency settings, plus complete local Activity Analysis.
Permanent retention remains subject to available disk space, user deletion, and privacy settings. Lumax Clip is not an unlimited-storage or file-backup service.
6. Lumax Tempo · release and scope
Lumax Tempo is a native calendar, reminder, world-clock, countdown, and desktop-note app for macOS 14 or later. The first version supports English and Simplified Chinese. It is preparing for Mac App Store release and is not yet available to download or purchase.
The initial rollout is planned for mainland China and other non-EU storefronts where distribution is available. Final regions, timing, and purchase availability depend on the App Store listing. No unannounced release date is promised.
The included official days-off and adjusted-workday schedule covers mainland China for 2026. It is not a worldwide public-holiday service. Check the relevant official announcements when planning time off.
Tempo has no Lumax account or Lumax cloud-sync service. Calendar and reminder operations require your system permission and a writable source for changes. Synchronisation and notification delivery depend on macOS and the configured account provider. Local notes and countdowns are not a backup service.
7. Tempo · free features and allowances
The calendar, Chinese lunar dates, solar terms, holidays, date intervals, and all event creation, viewing, editing, and deletion are free, subject to system access. Existing tasks can be viewed, completed, marked incomplete again, deleted, and edited for details such as titles, due dates, reminder times, and category assignment. Category creation, renaming, ordering, and visibility are free.
Free Tempo allows five successful new reminders through Tempo per Mac per local calendar day. Only successful creation counts. Cancellation, failed saves, edits, external sync, and system-generated recurring instances do not count; completion and deletion do not return a used creation. Browsing another date, changing a due date, or selecting a reference city does not reset the allowance.
The free allowances are one world-clock city, one saved custom countdown, and one visible desktop-note window at a time. Saved note count is not limited. Past or reminder-linked custom countdowns count toward the saved allowance; automatic holiday countdowns do not. Features within an available countdown slot, including editing, linking, exact time, and pinning, remain free.
Light, dark, and system appearance are free. The actual accent is fixed to Coral and the material to solid. The menu bar uses date plus time, to the minute, with the system’s time format and local time zone. Existing category and item colours remain visible, but changing them requires Pro. Existing task repeat rules are preserved during basic editing and may be turned off; adding or changing a rule requires Pro.
8. Tempo · Pro features
These features extend the capabilities present in Tempo. “No limit” describes the stated commercial allowances, not unlimited disk space, every city worldwide, a cloud service, or access to separate Lumax products. Free users may preview Pro appearance choices without applying them to the app.
- No daily limit on successful task creation, plus adding and changing task repetition rules.
- Category and individual-task colour editing; 13 preset accent palettes and custom HEX colours; solid or transparent-glass material. System accessibility settings may reduce transparency.
- Alternative menu-bar date and time layouts, seconds, manual 12/24-hour format, and reference-city selection.
- More world clocks from the included city catalogue and time previews with a slider or selected date and time.
- No commercial count limit on saved custom countdowns, and multiple desktop notes visible at the same time.
9. One-time purchases and restoration
Tempo Pro and Lumax Clip Pro are separate, non-consumable one-time in-app purchases. Each unlocks only its corresponding app. Neither has a monthly or annual subscription, automatic renewal, or subscription expiry. Apple displays the applicable price, currency, and taxes in the purchase interface and processes the transaction through StoreKit.
Restore Purchases depends on an eligible transaction for the Apple Account used for App Store purchases; no Lumax account is required.
10. Refunds, revocation, and local data
Refund eligibility and processing follow Apple’s applicable rules and the user’s statutory rights. If Apple confirms a refund or revokes a transaction, Pro entitlement may become unavailable.
For Lumax Clip, loss of Pro entitlement does not by itself bulk-delete existing history or favourites. Existing Pro appearance preferences are retained and can be applied again if entitlement is restored. Ordinary manual deletion and privacy cleanup remain effective.
For Tempo, free limits and appearance defaults apply again, but existing notes, countdowns, cities, colours, repetition rules, and original Pro preferences are retained. Only one clock card and one note window are shown; extra saved cities remain manageable, and existing countdowns remain visible and editable. New additions and protected changes are subject to the free limits. Restoring purchase rights is not a backup or a recovery service for lost local data.
11. Purchase scope and future features
Later Pro features added to Lumax Clip are included in its one-time purchase. Tempo Pro unlocks the Tempo features described above. Neither purchase promises a delivery date for unfinished features, Family Sharing, licences for other platforms, or access to another Lumax product. Clip Pro and Tempo Pro are not a shared bundle.
12. Website use
lumaxspace.com provides information about Lumax and its products. You may browse the public site and share links for personal or informational purposes.
Do not interfere with site operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malware or abusive traffic, use automated requests that materially disrupt the site, impersonate Lumax, or use the site to violate applicable law or another person’s rights.
13. Intellectual property, third parties, and changes
Unless otherwise stated, original Lumax branding, product marks, artwork, website design, text, and media are owned by XUELONG YU or the applicable licensors. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. Public access to the site does not grant a right to sell, misrepresent, or commercially reuse this material without permission.
The website may use or link to services operated by Apple, Cloudflare, or others. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. This page may be updated as the product, website, or applicable requirements evolve; updates will be posted with a revised date.
